Renee Astarita

She worked for over 20 years for the Eastchester School District and loved spending time with her family and friends. Renee was a member of the Tuckahoe and Crestwood Senior Citizens and also the Hartsdale Leisure Club.

She is survived by her children Christine (Eric)Odin of Eastchester, Barbara Jean (Nikolaus) Arnold of Cortlandt Manor, Robert (Micaela) of Yonkers, Carolyn (Kevin) Hanrahan of Larchmont; and grandchildren Scarlett, Greta, Teagan, Alfred, Cailin, Finn and Lochlan. She was predeceased by her husband Robert in 2009 and brother Ronald Calcagni in 2008.

Family and friends may visit Thursday 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Homes. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday July 22, 2016 at 10:00am at Church of the Annunciation, Crestwood. Interment will follow at Beechwoods Cemetery, New Rochelle.

Donations may be made in her memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
