Roxane Zilenziger

Roxane S. Zilenziger, resident of Vero Beach, Fl died on September 14, 2010, former resident of Scarsdale, NY., born: Roxane Knowlton Shugart on 10/3/31 in Charles Town, West Virginia, graduate of Northfield School for girls, Ma and Hood College, Frederick, Md. Employed a number of years at John Hopkins Hospital Biochemistry Laboratory.

Married to Rodman J. Zilenziger 53 years (married: 10/6/56), held memberships in The Fox Meadow Tennis Club of Scarsdale, The Moorings Club of Vero Beach; The Scarsdale Woman’s Club; The Shenorock Shore Club of Rye, NY, The Junior League of Central Westchester and Indian River County; The National Society of Colonial Dames in the State of New York, and a courtesy member of the society in the state of Florida.

She took huge pleasure in her family, her friends and her many pass times: tennis, paddle tennis, golf, bridge, reading, theatre trips, travel and her church, Hitchcock Presbyterian in Scarsdale, NY.

Survived by husband, Rod, and children: Gaye Geiger (Scott) of New Canaan, Ct., Susan Maier (Rich) of HoHoKus, NJ and Rod Zilenziger, Jr. (Jennifer) also of HoHoKus, and eleven grandchildren: Daniel, Sarah, Caitlin, Taylor, Rodman, Lindsay, Kevin, James, Claire, Katherine, and Anna.

Memorial Service: Hitchcock Presbyterian Church, 6 Greenacres Avenue, Scarsdale, N.Y. 10583 on Friday, September 17 at 10:00 am, followed by a repast at: Shenorock Shore Club, 475 Stuyvesant Ave, Rye, NY 10580.
