Thomas Patrick Meehan died on December 9, 2020. He was 61 years old. The cause of death was a heart attack. Tom was a life long resident of the Scarsdale/Eastchester area. He was the son of Frank and Mary Meehan and brother of Catherine Meehan Howard. He was the husband of Christine Rossi Meehan, father to Brian and grandfather to Anthony. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews including Kevin and Ciera Howard. Tom also leaves behind too many friends to count.
Besides his family, Tom’s lifelong love was basketball. From his grammar school days in the IHM gym to his years at Salesian High School, Tommy was a stand out player. His passion for the game didn’t end there. As an adult he spent many years coaching locally, winning the admiration of players and coaches alike.Tommy was known and loved by many. He will be greatly missed.
A memorial Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scarsdale on January 9th, 2021 at 10AM.
