Aaron Leroy Mast

Aaron Leroy Mast, 79, of Schuylkill Haven, PA, died on Friday, August 3, 2018 in the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center, Tremont, PA. He was born in Chester County on November 3, 1938, a son of the late Raymond P. and Anna Mary Sensenig Mast. He was married to Ruth Elaine Sensenig Mast for 59 years. In his youth he accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was a faithful member of the Conservative Mennonite Church. Aaron worked as a cabinet installer for many years. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Kenneth Mast and wife Linda of Tamaqua, PA; Lloyd Mast and wife Dawn of Hollywood, MD; four daughters, Margaret Ebersole and husband Wilmer of Bellingham, MA; Nina Wadel and husband Braden of Chambersburg, PA; Orpha Baltozer and husband Thomas of Springfield Center, NY; Phyllis Eby and husband Nathaniel of Schuylkill Haven, PA; 40 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Clair Mast of Denver, PA; Michael Mast of Harrisonburg, VA; Ernest Mast of East Petersburg, PA; two sisters, Anna Grace Stoltzfus and husband Elvin of Lititz, PA; Verna Clemmer and husband Wesley of McClure, PA. He was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Hurst. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 10 am in the Miners Village Mennonite Church, 108 Rexmont Road, Cornwall, PA, with Conestoga Valley ministry officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewing on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm at Fairview Mennonite Reception Center, 141 Jackson Road, Lebanon, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Appalachian Missions Fund, 40545 Parsons Mill Rd., Leonardtown, MD 20650. Clauser Funeral Home, Inc. of Schaefferstown, PA is handling his arrangements.
