Arlene L. Wilson Diem

Arlene L. Diem, 93, of Bethel, PA, died Sunday, December 30, 2012 in the Riles Home Aide Haven, Myerstown. She was the wife of the late Melvin L. Diem. She was born in Paradise Township, Lancaster County on October 15, 1919 a daughter of the late James and Hattie Leaman Wilson. She was a member of the Myerstown Mennonite Church and enjoyed gardening. Arlene was on the steering committee for the Jubilee Store and served as store manager for many years. She is survived by children, Evelyn wife of Chester Martin of British Columbia, Canada; Melvin husband of Janet Diem of Shippensburg; Roy husband of Sara Diem of Spring Grove; James husband of Linda Diem of Willow Hill; Thelma wife of Sidney Lehman of Bethel; Ronald Diem of Myerstown; Carl husband of Beverly Diem of Bethel; daughter-in-law, Elaine Diem of Myerstown; 44 grandchildren; 132 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Diem and two sisters. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at the Myerstown Mennonite Church, 624 N. College St., Myerstown. Interment will be made in the Groffdale Mennonite Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM and Friday from 9 to 10 AM all at the church. PLEASE OMIT FLOWERS.
