Betty M. Ginder, age 83, of Schaefferstown, PA died on Saturday July 10, 2021. Born on December 9, 1937, in Tulpehocken Township, Berks County, PA, to the late Henry A. and Irene B. (Frantz) Shower and was the widow of Peter W. Ginder who died in 1997. She is survived by son, David, and wife Deborah Ginder, daughter, Dorene, wife of Ronald Harris, and son, Daniel, and wife Juliet Ginder; Grandchildren, Hannah Yang, Ethan Ginder, Drew Harris, Blake Harris, Chad Harris, Grant Harris, Noah Ginder and Grace Ginder; four great grandchildren; sisters, Arlene Gerhart and Brenda Shower, and brother, William Shower. She was preceded in death by sisters Mae Moats, Verna Krady and Gladys Kintzer. Betty was employed by Balsbaugh Insurance for over 20 years and a long time member of St. Paul’s UCC in Schaefferstown. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow over the years. A celebration of Betty’s life will be held on August 5th at 7:00PM at St. Paul’s UCC, Schaefferstown.
