
Charles S. “Tony” Strickler, 95, of Robesonia and formerly of Newmanstown, passed away at his residence on Saturday, April 23, 2022. He was born in Stricklerstown on February 3, 1927, a son of the late Charles and Marguerite (Schoener) Strickler. Tony was the husband of the late Esther J. “Jane” (Miller) Strickler, who passed away on August 26, 2013.
Tony graduated from Newmanstown High School in 1945. After graduation, he served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a radar operator in the Pacific during WWII.
For many years, he was a part owner/executive of Rich Maid Kitchens, Inc., last working circa 2000. He was a Boy Scout and Explorers master and served on the Eastern Lebanon County School Board in the 1960’s. He was a faithful member of Millcreek Lutheran Church, Newmanstown, where he served on the Church Council numerous times over the years.
Tony enjoyed traveling to the New Jersey shore, playing pinochle with friends, listening to gospel and country music and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his son, Layne E. Strickler and wife Renee, of Robesonia; granddaughters Molly S. Kuball and husband Zosh of Seattle, WA and Jennifer S. Clinton, wife of Brandon of West Lawn, PA; great grandchildren, Riley, Liam and Elijah Clinton. He is also survived by a Godchild, Wendy Hertzog of Newmanstown. He was predeceased by his son, Lance E. Strickler, and granddaughter, Jennifer C. Falasca.

A memorial service will be held at Millcreek Lutheran Church on Saturday, June 4th 2022, 11:00 A.M. Interment will be private and scheduled at the convenience of the family.
