

Daniel Clark Wilson, 64, of Myerstown, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 in the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Stephanie Morrow Wilson with whom he was married to for 36 years. He was born in Lebanon on November 13, 1952, a son of the late Eugene C. and Dorothy O’Brien Wilson. He was a sales representative for Ritz Camera’s at Boscov’s for many years. He also worked part-time for Smith’s Candies in Myerstown and Waldeck Concessions. He was a 1970 graduate of ELCO High School and a graduate of Paul Smith College in NY. Dan was a social representative at Myerstown VFW, Post 6076; Trustee of Newmanstown Athletic Association; Co-Chairman, with his wife, of Myerstown Midget Football program where he was involved for 50 years and the Myerstown Baseball program. In addition, he was a member of the Goodwill Fire Co. of Myerstown; Richland American Legion, Post 880; and Liberty Fire Co. of Lebanon. He was well known as “Dan the Hotdog Man”. He enjoyed listening to music, was an avid reader and worshipped in the Lutheran faith. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Matthew Imboden of Middletown; Max Wilson and wife Janell of Myerstown; Peter Wilson and wife Shannon of Myerstown; grandchildren, Tyler Marmontello, Travis Imboden, Cedric Imboden, Riley Wilson, Gracie Wilson, Breezy Wilson, Collyns Wilson and Jayden Noss. He was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Wilson. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 4:00 pm in Salem Lutheran Church, 119 N. 8th St., Lebanon, PA.
