Dennis Jay Seldomridge, of Richland PA, passed away on 26 of June, 2023 at the age of 70. He was beloved husband of Sharon Seldomridge (Firestine), and they recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Born 23 of May, 1953 in Berks County, he was the son of Samuel Seldomridge and Arlene Seldomridge (Fitterling). He worked as a mechanic at Yellow Freight for 36 years. An avid hunter and fisherman, he was a member of Camp Richland, Richland Legion Post 880, Rescue Fire Company of Mt. Aetna, Marion Township Rod and Gun Club, and Newmanstown Athletic Association. He served as council president for Richland Borough for several years. He loved traveling with family and friends, played fast pitch softball for many years, and enjoyed attending sporting events with his children and grandchildren over the years.
He is survived by wife Sharon, daughter Carey Krall (husband Jason Krall), son Mark Seldomridge (wife Danielle Seldomridge), and grandchildren Aaron Krall, Evan Krall, Lucas Seldomridge, and Aubrey Seldomridge, as well as sisters Denise Hayden and Deanne Randler. He was preceded in death by brother Delroy Seldomridge and sister Deborah Kreiser.
His memorial service will be held Saturday July 1, 2023 at 11 am at Myerstown Church of the Brethren, 51 W. Stoever Ave, Myerstown PA 17067. Friends and family may visit from 9 to 11 am at the Church.
