Edith C. Eisley, 99, of Newmanstown, PA, died Friday, August 19, 2011 in the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of the late Roy A. Eisley. She was born in Womelsdorf, PA, a daughter of the late Sidney and Ada Stark Weidler. She was a retired employee of the former Winthrop Company (Bayer Corporation) of Myerstown. Edith was a member of the Millcreek Lutheran Church of Newmanstown; an avid Phillies fan and card player. She is survived by grandchildren, Kathleen Henkel and Martha Adamsky both of Pittsburgh, PA and Steven Dunn of Troy, NY; eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Dunn; brothers, Herbert, Wilbur and Isaac Weidler; sisters, E. Blanche Keller and Beatrice Hoffman. Graveside service and interment will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM in the Millcreek Memorial Cemetery, Newmanstown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Millcreek Lutheran Church, 221 N. Sheridan Road, Newmanstown, PA 17073.
