Edna Esther Shirk, 97, of Myerstown, went to be with the Lord on March 1, 2025 at Richland Christian Home. She was the wife of the late Leroy F. Shirk, Jr. She is survived by daughters Mabel Shirk of Lebanon; Naomi (Larry) Burkholder of Myerstown; and son: Leroy M. (Deb) Shirk of Denver; 6 grandchildren: 17 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sister Betty Clark of Palmyra; brother: Mervin May of Mt. Joy; sisters-in-law Helen Gascho, Florida; Ruth Nisley, Delaware and Shirley (Lester) Ebersole of Myerstown, nieces and nephews. Edna was preceded in death by sister Erma (Raymond) Gruber and brother Curtis W. May, Jr. Visitation will be Friday March 7, 2025 from 6 to 8 pm and on Saturday March 8, 2025 from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 am. in the Fairhaven Mennonite Church 801 S. Railroad St., Myerstown, PA 17067. Interment will be in the Weaverland Anabaptist Faith Community Cemetery, Weaverland Valley Rd. East Earl, PA 17519.
