Edwin A Wenrich Sr.

Edwin A. Wenrich, Sr., 82, of Newmanstown, died Saturday, July 5, 2014 in his daughter’s home. He was the husband of the late Eva J. Strickler Wenrich. He was born in Stouchsburg on October 3, 1931, a son of the late Herbert and Mary Boyer Wenrich. Ed was employed for 35 years at Wilbur Chocolate in Lititz retiring from the maintenance department. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dirt track races, tractor pulls and demolition derbies. Ed is survived by children, Edwin Wenrich, Jr. of Lebanon; William Wenrich of Shillington; Debra wife of Richard Strickler of Myerstown; Dale Wenrich of Lebanon; Robert husband of Jan Wenrich of Adamstown; Michael husband of Diane Wenrich of East Berlin; thirteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph, Charles, John, George Wenrich; and a sister, Elsie Parker. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 PM in the Clauser Funeral Home, N. Carpenter St., Schaefferstown, with a viewing beginning on Wednesday at 12:30 PM. Interment will be made in the Grand View Memorial Park.
