Elizabeth B Horning Stauffer

Elizabeth B. Stauffer, 94, died Sunday, October 6, 2013 in the Richland Christian Home. She was the wife of her late first husband, Amos W. Martin who died May 1, 1944 and her late second husband Adam R. Stauffer who died June 4, 1980. She was born June 14, 1919 in Brecknock Township, Lancaster County, a daughter of the late David and Magdalena Burkholder Horning. Elizabeth was a member of the Fairview Mennonite Church of the Weaverland Conference, Myerstown, PA. She is survived by children: Rachel wife of Carl Martin of Lebanon; Frank husband of Marilyn Martin of Guatemala; step children: Joanna wife of Noah Zimmerman of Newmanstown; Erma wife of the late Phares Martin of IL.; Leon husband of Mary Jane Stauffer of East Earl; Elias husband of Mary Stauffer of New Holland; Lucinda wife of Mervin Weaver of IL; Violet wife of Leonard Martin of Myerstown; 13 grandchildren; 26 step grandchildren; 67 great grandchildren; 166 step great grandchildren; 228 step great great grandchildren; sister: Esther wife of Joseph Boll of Richland; sister in laws: Verna Horning and Mary Horning both of Myerstown. She was preceded in death by a great grandchild, 4 step grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren, 3 sisters and 6 brothers. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM in the Springville Mennonite Church, 580 Springville Road, Ephrata, PA. Interment will be made in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewing will be held on Wednesday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the Fairview Mennonite Reception Center, 141 Jackson Road, Lebanon, PA. PLEASE OMIT FLOWERS.
