Elmer A. Derr Jr.

Elmer A. Derr Jr. 93 of Richland, was welcomed into God’s Kingdom on Saturday, March 15, 2025. He was born in Schaefferstown on September 11,1931, a son of the late Elmer A. Sr. and Edna (Shirk) Derr. Elmer was the husband of the late Mary Ann Derr who passed away in 2004. Mr. Derr is retired from Lebanon Seaboard Corp. where he was a Chemist. He was a member of Tulpehocken Trinity Church, Susquehannock Fly Fishers and Myerstown Rod and Gun Club. Surviving are sons: Alan A. Derr (Trudy J.) of Hesston, PA and Eric E. Derr of Bethlehem; grandchildren: Sabrina J. Derr (Preston Wenger) of Lititz, Angela Kritzer of York, Christopher Kritzer of Marietta; great grandchildren: Paige Kritzer, Braden Kritzer, Jackson Kritzer and Paxton Wenger; brother: Richard Derr (Tita) of AZ. Elmer was predeceased by his sister: Dorothy Weaver and brothers Ralph and Myron Derr. A Funeral Service will be held in the Tulpehocken Trinity Church, 961 Tulpehocken Rd, Richland, Pa, 17087 on Monday, March 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM with a viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery. A reception for all will be provided following the service in the church social hall. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
