Gary Wayne Simmers, 77 of Schaefferstown, passed away in Lancaster General Hospital on Thursday, April 3, 2025. He was born in Hershey on August 12, 1947, a son of the late Harold and Agnes (Sullivan) Simmers. He was the husband of Linda (Crain) Simmers for 54 years. Mr. Simmers was a retired Machinist for Bethlehem Steel and Johnson and Johnson. He was a graduate of Cornwall High School 1965. He was a member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church in Schaefferstown. He enjoyed hunting, attending car shows, and most of all being with his family. Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters: Stacy Stahl (Richard) of Campbelltown and Kristy Halbleib (Frank) of Lebanon; sister: Sandy Taddeo of Campbelltown. Gary was predeceased by his sister: Pat Johnston. Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
