Gideon A. Fisher

Gideon A. Fisher, 83, Myerstown, passed away on Wednesday June 25, 2025 in his residence. He was the husband of Arie E. Peachey Fisher. He was born in Lebanon County on February 27, 1942 a son of the late Gideon B. and Hannah Stoltzfus Fisher. He was a retired farmer and had owned a welding shop. Gideon was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. In addition to his wife he is survived by children: Sylvia A. wife of Benuel Lantz, Myerstown; Leon J. Fisher, Myerstown; Leroy D. Fisher, Myerstown; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren: sisters: Emma Stoltzfus widow of Christ Stoltzfus; Sarah wife of Christ Stoltzfus; sisters-in-law: Ruth wife of the late David Fisher; Lydia wife of the late Elmer Fisher. He was preceded in death by brother; Amos Fisher and sister: Katie who was married to the late Jacob Stoltzfus. Funeral service will be held Friday June 27, 2025 at 9:00am. (standard time) at 135 Horst Rd. Myerstown, PA 17067. Burial will be in Lapp Cemetery. Viewing will take place at the house until the funeral begins. Clauser Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
