Helen Ritzman

Helen M. Ritzman, 91 of Lebanon, passed away in Alpine Valley Nursing Home on Friday, February 28, 2025. She was born in Mt. Aetna, Berks County on July 16, 1933, a daughter of the late John and Kathryn (Long) Clayman. Helen was the wife of the late Gene Ritzman. Mrs. Ritzman was a Sewing Machine Operator for 1 Publix Shirt in Myerstown and Ocello Knitting in Richland. She was a member of Mt. Aetna Fire Company where she was President of the Ladies Auxiliary and Social Hall Cook, Christ Lutheran Church in Stouchsburg. Surviving are her sisters: Betty Gibble of Lebanon; Lilian Wolfe of Mt. Zion; Iva Strickler of Richland; brother: George Claman of Rehrersburg; numerous nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her son, Glenn Ritzman; brothers: Harold and Russell Clayman; sisters Mary Clayman and Ruth Wagner. A Funeral Service will be held in the Clauser Funeral Home Inc. 116 N. Carpenter Street, Schaefferstown, PA, 17088 on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 10:00 AM with a viewing from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
