Kathryn L Weidman

Kathryn Lee Weidman, 92 of Lebanon, passed away in the Reading Hospital on Friday, September 1, 2023. She was born in Harrisburg on October 22, 1930, a daughter of the late Leon W. Sr. and Catherine E. (Dohner) Shaak. Kathryn was the wife of the late John A. Weidman. Mrs. Weidman was an Assistant Cook at Cedar Crest High School where she retired. She was a Lebanon High Graduate class of 1948, Past President of South Lebanon Lioness Club, Founder & co-owner with her husband of Shady Oaks Campsite, Newmanstown PA from 1972- 1995, Den Mother of Cub Pack 45 of Lebanon. She was a member of St. Stephen’s Christian Fellowship Church, Lebanon, active in Women’s Guild and a Sunday School Teacher. Surviving are her sons: Paul D, husband of Joy Weidman and Brian J, husband of Kim Weidman all of Lebanon; grandchildren: Lieutenant Commander Joshua, husband of Ashley Weidman, Matthew Weidman, Kaitlyn, wife of Jonathan Day, Amy, wife of Daniel Cannistraci; ten great grandchildren; brother Dale N, husband of Linda Shaak of Lebanon. Kathryn was predeceased by her brother, Leon Shaak and sister, Joyce Newton. An Evening Viewing will be held in St. Stephen's Christian Fellowship Church, 1100 Hunters Chase Lane, Lebanon, PA, 17046 on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 6:30PM to 8:30PM. A Funeral Service will be held in her church on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 10:00AM with a viewing from 9:00AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Lebanon, PA.
