Kenneth E Krall

Kenneth E. Krall, 75, of Schaefferstown, passed away in his home on Saturday, February 24, 2018. He was the husband of Lorraine R. Horst Krall with whom he was married to for 54 years. He was born in Lebanon County on January 13, 1943, a son of the late Kenneth H. and Alta M. Stohler Krall. He was a retired insurance employee benefit administrator. Ken graduated from Schaefferstown High School in 1960. He earned a BS degree from Elizabethtown College graduating in 1964, where he also was a member of their 1962 championship soccer team. He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Schaefferstown. Ken was very active with Heidelberg Township Recreation Association. He served as Auditor and was on the Zoning Hearing Board for Heidelberg Township. He was a former member of the ELCO School Board and Heidelberg Jaycees. Ken was an avid golfer, loved attending his family sporting events, and was a dedicated ELCO soccer supporter. Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Timothy A. Krall and wife Kathleen of Schaefferstown; Melissa A. Gettler and husband Shane of Myerstown; grandchildren, Collin Krall, Cassidy Krall, Camryn Krall, Evan Gettler, Julia Gettler and Steffi Gettler; sister, Debra Eisenhauer of Lebanon; nieces and nephews. His memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 11 AM in St. Luke Lutheran Church, 1432 Heidelberg Ave., Schaefferstown with a visitation beginning on Wednesday at 10:30 AM. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ken’s memory to St. Luke Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 278, Schaefferstown, PA 17088 or Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601. Clauser Funeral Home, Inc. is handling his services.
