Kenneth E. Rohrer

Kenneth E. Rohrer, 52, of 322 Old Mill Road, Newmanstown, died Thursday, March 4, 2010 in the Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Wanda J. Houck Rohrer with whom he celebrated 32 years of marriage. He was born September 29, 1957 in Lancaster a son of Robert K. Rohrer and wife Ruth of Delaware and the late Nancy I. Beale Rohrer. He was employed for twenty years at Wenger’s of Myerstown. Ken was a member of the Cocalico Propbusters and Schaefferstown Emergency Services where he volunteered for eleven years. He enjoyed camping, fishing and building and flying radio control airplanes. Surviving in addition to his wife and father are children, Melissa L. wife of Scott L. Moyer of Schaefferstown; John A. husband of Mindy E. Rohrer of Myerstown; grandchildren, Isabel F. Moyer, Chase A. Rohrer and Emily E. Rohrer; sisters, Barbara wife of Herbert Graham of Columbia; Sue Rohrer of Mountville; brothers, Marc husband of Grace Rohrer of Lancaster; J. Todd husband of Nicole Rohrer of Manheim. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 PM in the Clauser Funeral Home, N. Carpenter St., Schaefferstown. Interment will be made in the Schaefferstown Cemetery.
