Born at home in Alba, Pennsylvania, on October 29, 1944, he was the son of the late Lyle D. and Elsie I. (Jackson) Crawford.
A dedicated and diligent man, Lawrence began working at the age of 11. He was a graduate of Troy High School and spent much of his life working as a pipefitter, retiring from Herr and Sacco after a long and steady career.
Lawrence was known for his sharp sense of humor and his ability to make those around him laugh with ease.
He is survived by his loving partner, Charlene Coyle; his daughter, Crystal Crawford; his granddaughter, Deidra Orris; and his brother, Donald Crawford. He was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Sheila Webb, and 5 siblings.
Honoring Lawrence’s wishes, there will be a private gathering for friends and family to raise a glass and share memories at his favorite spot, The Brunnerville Hotel.
