We have such fond memories of Manny, Nancy, and our other Garfield Collector friends. Manny was always so thoughtful and helpful at our conventions. He will be missed by all in our group who knew him. -- Colleen and Phil Lanier, Winston-Salem, NC.

My many memories of Manny over the years have always seen him as a happy, loving partner of Nancy. Always helping all the Garfield fans at all the Garfield Collector's Conventions with whatever help they needed and giving love with a sweet smile always. At our last Garfest in Hershey PA , Manny made sure I had my scooter handy at all the events that I could not walk far. He was suffering we could tell at the time, but he carried on as if nothing was bothering him at all.

My deepest and loving condolences to Manny's beautiful and loving wife, Nancy. Know that all the Garfield buds will miss Manny and his wonderful loving, caring ways and his help given with love to each and everyone of us. Love you Nancy. May God bless and keep you safe and give you comfort in your immense loss of Manny.

I meet Manny (& Nancy) 20 yrs ago. From the minute we were introduced, Manny treated me like I was an old friend he knew for years. He was always helpful, friendly, amusing, kind, enjoyable, caring, and never far from Nancy’s side. Hearing he had passed was sad and he will be greatly missed. However, there is now one more guardian angel up there now, always smiling and laughing with us. God Bless you Manny! Hugs & prayers to you Nancy

For the years of shared friendship with Manny Vega, we have grown to appreciate Manny as a warm, delightful, loving, sincere, and fun person. There was never a time being with Manny that he didn't share a big smile and words of sincere compassion. We have often thought with great affection and pleasure of those wonderful times together. A delightful spark of memory pops up with Manny and his wife, Nancy, on a Garfield the Cat cruise sponsored by cartoonist, Jim Davis. What a fabulous time shared by us all! Manny's spirit and enthusiasm will always live in our hearts.
With love and sympathy, Gretchen and Bob Gipson
