Mildred E. Gerhart

Mildred E. Gerhart, 89, formerly of Newmanstown, died Sunday, January 6, 2013 in Cedar Haven. She was the wife of the late Frank E. Gerhart who died in 1992. She was born November 13, 1923 in Bernville, a daughter of the late Charles and Nora Lengle Lutz. She was formerly employed by Binner’s Associates in Schaefferstown. She was a member of the Richland American Legion, Womelsdorf VFW, and the Mt. Aetna Fire Company. She was an avid NASCAR fan and especially enjoyed following Mark Martin. She is survived by children, James husband of Gloria Gerhart, Womelsdorf; Susan wife of Lewis Geibe of Lititz; Brenda wife Ronald Yeingst and Randy Gerhart both of Newmanstown; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Alva Kreiser of Palmyra. She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Saltzer. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 AM in the Clauser Funeral Home, N. Carpenter St., Schaefferstown with a viewing beginning on Wednesday at 9:30 AM. Interment will be made in the Grand View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Cedar Haven, 590 S. Fifth Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042.
