Miles Richard Spitler

Miles Richard Spitler, 89 of Newmanstown, passed away at home on Sunday, June 22, 2025. He was born in Myerstown on October 5, 1935, a son of the late Miles C. and Stella L. (Kleinfelter) Spitler. Miles was the husband of the late Jacquelyn Rae ( Beamesderfer) Spitler who passed away June 9, 2018. Mr. Spitler was retired from Met – Ed where he was employed for 30 years in Electric Construction Maintenance. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Mt. Lebanon Lodge #226 F & AM; Life Member of Schaefferstown Fire Co.; National Trappers Association; Pennsylvania Trappers Association; Avid Hunter and Trapper. He was a member of St. Paul’s UCC in Schaefferstown . Surviving are his children: Darryl Spitler of Myerstown and Stacia Pfautz (Paul) of Newmanstown; grandchildren: Emilee Pfautz and Joshua Pfautz; Zachary Spitler and Dylan Spitler. Miles was predeceased by his daughter in law; Cathy Spitler. A Memorial Service will be held in St. Paul’s U.C.C. 1304 Heidelberg Ave, Schaefferstown, PA 17088 on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at 2:00 PM. Contributions may be made in Miles memory to his church.
