Paul S Hoover

Paul S. Hoover, 93, of Lebanon, PA, died Saturday, February 23, 2013 in his home. He was the husband of Verna G. Wise Hoover with whom he was married to for 70 years. He was born in New Holland on September 19, 1919 a son of the late Peter Z. and Anna S. Shirk Hoover. Paul was employed as a farmer and a member of the Hamlin Mennonite Church of the Weaverland Conference. Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Gerald W. married to Vera Weaver Hoover of Clyde, NY; Wilmer W. married to Edna Zimmerman Hoover of Elizabethtown; Paul D. married to Carol Wirth Hoover of Myerstown; Mervin W. married to Marian Hoover Hoover of Pelham, GA; James L. married to Frances Martin Hoover of Lebanon; Vernon W. married to Linda Nolt Hoover of Patriot, OH; 28 grandchildren; 74 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Eunice W. Hoover; brothers, Harvey S. Hoover and Ivan S. Hoover; sisters, Eva S. Hoover, Minnie S. Musser, Anna S. Good, Esther S. Martin and Mabel S. Rutt. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 AM in the Mt. Zion Mennonite Church, Deep Run Road, Myerstown, PA. Interment will be made in the Mt. Zion Mennonite Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Tuesday from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM at the Fairview Mennonite Reception Center, 141 Jackson Road, Lebanon, PA. PLEASE OMIT FLOWERS.
