Peggy Lou Schoener

Peggy Lou Schoener, 88 formerly of Myerstown, passed away in her home on Saturday, February 15, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born in Millbach on July 21,1936, a daughter of the late George Moses and Florance Margaret (Clay) Ludwig. Mrs. Schoener was retired from Stone Ridge Nursing Home in Myerstown where she worked in the Dietary Department as a cook. She attended Petra Church in New Holland. Surviving are daughters: Vicki Dotterrer of Myerstown; Billi Jo Kern (Jesse) of Narvon; Stacey Palanica (Brian) of Myerstown; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Mary Ann Krach of Florida; George Ludwig Jr. of Robesonia; Paul Ludwig of Lebanon; Gloria Gerhart of Womelsdorf; Richard Ludwig of Ephrata; Fern Martin of Ephrata; numerous nieces and nephews. Peggy was predeceased by two daughters: Joni Ann and Toni Ann Buckwalter; brothers and sisters: Kenny Rhine; Betty Fasnacht; Mark Ludwig; Donald Ludwig; Russel Ludwig and Dorothy Boyer. A Funeral Service will be held in the Clauser Funeral Home Inc. 116 N. Carpenter St, Schaefferstown, PA, 17088 on Monday February 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM with a viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Millbach Community Cemetery.
