

Phares Nolt Eshleman, 94, formerly of Schaefferstown, died peacefully on Saturday, April 4, 2015 in the home of his daughter. He was the wife of the late Selma S. Weik Eshleman. He was born in Clay Township, Lancaster County on January 25, 1921, a son of the late J. Henry and Maria Nolt Eshleman. He was retired building and grounds superintendent for the ELCO School District with 18 years of service. He was a member of the Myerstown Church of the Brethren. Phares loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren and attending their sporting events. He enjoyed playing golf and traveling. He is survived by daughters, Diane L. wife of Glenn Martin of Harrisonburg, VA; Lori R. wife of Earl Good of Palmyra; grandchildren, Michael husband of Danielle Martin; Julie wife of Branson Yoder ; Callie Good and Madison Good; great grandchildren, Kylie, Kade and Colt Martin and Dillon Yoder; sister, Arlene wife of Louis Pierantoni of WV. He was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Eshleman; sisters, Marie Snavely, Alice Weaver and Esther Frederique. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Myerstown Church of the Brethren, 51 West Stoever Ave., Myerstown, PA 17067 with a viewing beginning on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Interment will be made in the Hammercreek Mennonite Cemetery, Lititz. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, 1320 Lingletown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110 or Myerstown Church of the Brethren Building Fund.
