Robert S. Martin

Robert S. Martin, 94, Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday March 31, 2026 in his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Mary C. (Martin) Martin to who he was married for 72 years. Robert was born in New Holland on May 28, 1931, son of the late Elmer H. and Anna Mary (Sauder) Martin. He was a retired dairy farmer and was pastor of Krall’s Mennonite Church for 40 years. He was a devoted family man and prayer warrior for his family as he remembered each child and grandchild by name every day during devotions with his wife. In addition to his wife he is survived by children: Linda Martin wife of the late Eugene martin; Eileen wife of Joseph Stahl; Robert L. Martin and wife Cheryl; Curvin Martin and wife Mary Ann; 21 grandchildren; 91 great-grandchildren: 8 great great-grandchildren; siblings: Dorothy Martin wife of the late Simeon Martin; Miriam wife of James Brubaker; Elmer Martin and wife Grace; Ruth Ann wife of Jay Zimmerman; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by children: Carolyn Faye Martin and Larry Dean Martin; great-grandchildren: Isaac Lehman and Lucas Martin; brother: Lester Martin and sister: Susan Hershey. Viewing will be Monday April 6, 2026 from 1-3 and 5-7pm in Krall’s Mennonite Church 2518 S. Fifth Ave., Lebanon. Funeral will be Tuesday April 7, 2026 at 10:00 am. in Faith Journey Church, 2000 PA Route 897, Denver, PA 17517 where a time of viewing with no family visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the time of service. Interment will be in Krall’s Mennonite Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Heralds of Hope. 6183 Lincoln Hwy, Harrisonville, PA 17228.
