Robert Aaron Mays, 32, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 31, 2015 in his home. He was born in Lebanon on October 5, 1982 a son of Lawrence J. Mays of Newmanstown and the late Carolyn F. Mann Mays. He had been an employee for fifteen years at the Lebanon YMCA. Robert loved trains. He had several model trains and loved going on train trips with his family. Surviving in addition to his father is a sister, Danielle E. Mays of Denver; step mother, Denise A. Mays; grandparents, Robert H. and Freda F. Mann of Schaefferstown; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Aaron C. and Miriam A. Mays. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 7:30 PM in the Clauser Funeral Home, N. Carpenter St., Schaefferstown with a viewing beginning on Thursday at 6:00 PM. Interment will be made in the Schaefferstown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, P. O. Box 15, Strasburg, PA 17579.
