Ronald William Harris Jr.

Ronald W. Harris, Jr., 66, Richland, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 in his residence. He was the husband of Dorene M. (Ginder) Harris with whom he celebrated a 41st wedding anniversary. He was born on February 5, 1959 in Newark, NJ, a son of the late Ronald W. Harris and the late Judith A. Thompson Harris. Ron was a 1977 graduate of ELCO High School and had been an insurance agent for many years. He was also the owner of RCS Restorations, Inc. Ron enjoyed playing soccer and baseball in high school and was a boys youth soccer coach in Richland. He was also an avid golfer and served on the ELCO School Board. He was a freemason. In addition to his wife he is survived by sons: Drew W. Harris, Richland; Blake A. and wife Erin Harris of Myerstown; Chad A. Harris, Richland; Grant P. and wife Allie Harris, Fairfield; brothers; Scott A. Harris, Manheim; Stephen W. Harris, Richland; aunt: Patricia Thomspn, Richland; brothers-in-law: Daniel Ginder and wife Julie, Schaefferstown; David Ginder, Schaefferstown as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Most of all, Ron loved and enjoyed his grandchildren: Finn, Ella, Raegan and Jackson who will all miss their beloved “Pop Pop.” Interment will be private.
