Ruby Arlene Yoder

She met her late husband Richard in Florida, and they shared 57 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in October 2019.

Ruby loved birds and flowers, especially roses. She was known for her sweet nature, never saying a cross word to anyone and never getting angry. However, she was a fierce competitor when it came to Scrabble and Words with Friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Colleen Friesel and son, Dewey (Wendy) Yoder; grandchildren, Emily and Gage Yoder; sisters, Frieda Fries, Sarah Yoder, Phyllis Bontrager and Barbara Hochstetler; brothers, Fred, Ben and Jonas Yoder; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by one sister, Martha Kauffman.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 10:00 am in Clauser Funeral Home, 116 N. Carpenter St., Schaefferstown, PA 17088 with a viewing held from 9:00 am to time of service. Interment will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
