Adam P. Lee, 24, of Scituate, passed away suddenly August 8, 2022. He grew up in Scituate, graduating from Scituate HS in 2016. He went on to excel in engineering at Western New England University, where he earned his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and Masters in Engineering Management, and was employed by General Dynamics Mission Systems where he was beginning a flourishing career as an engineer.
Adam “ Little Lee” was the youngest of a large and very tight knit family who was loved by his mom, Cristin, who left him far too soon (at age 5)...he was attached to his Dad, Dick’s knee from day one...and to his heart for eternity. From a very young age, he was an inspirational leader and teammate - from his youth football days, through high school football and college rugby, and as a professional team member at GD.
His passionate curiosity for all things mechanical was evident early on, and flourished in his successful participation in WNEUs Baja racing club, working in the family HVAC business before college graduation, and on into his career choice.
Adam loved the outdoors and enthusiastically shared his passion with his friends and family, and most especially with his girlfriend and enthusiastic partner in crime, Morgan. His beaming smile could be seen snowboarding down any number of slopes, biking off the beaten trail, kayaking and fishing wherever he could, hiking the Adirondack 46 peaks, or most recently hiking and camping at Zion and the Grand Canyon. He could encourage the least of outdoors type to join in, and when they were done they were beaming too.
There is not a person he encountered who didn’t love him and appreciate his spark for life, his humor, his passion for adventure, his commitment and work ethic, and most of all, his deep loyalty to family and friends.
Adam is survived by his devoted partner and girlfriend, Morgan Schrader, his loving Dad, Dick, and step-mom Peg, his siblings Heather Ciaramitaro (husband Frank), Jason (wife Betsy), David (wife Sara), Zach (fiance Audrey), Erica Gliddon (husband Steve), and his step siblings Mari Scranton (husband Kevin), Michaela Mavilia (fiance Bobby), David Mavilia (partner Kaylee), as well as his many aunts and uncles, especially his Uncle Chris and Aunt Linda Lee, and cousin Tori Lee with whom he was so very close, and his cat, Turbo.
He was adored, hero-worshipped and pig-piled upon by his 9 nieces and nephews: Franco, Cristi, Angeleena Ciaramitaro, Curtis and Catherine Lee, Jameson, Andrew and Amelia Lee, and Miles Lee.
He also leaves his best friends and brothers Cole Pasqualucci and Brendan Deary, who meant the world and more to Adam. And his other many, many friends.
A Celebration of Adam’s amazing life will be held on Wednesday, August 17th from 5-8pm at St. Mary’s Parish Center, 2 Edward Foster Rd in Scituate.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention ( https://afsp.org ), a cause for which Adam and Morgan participated in fundraising hikes, and the Nephcure Foundation ( https://nephcure.org ), in loving support of his brother Cole.
The world is a better, yet now sadder place, having made Adam’s acquaintance.
