Anna Marie White

White-Anna Marie of Scituate, passed on Feb. 22, 2010 age 91 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. Anna Marie was born in Boston and raised in Dorchester while spending her summers in Scituate. She has been a Scituate resident for 70 years. Anna Marie graduated from Dorchester H.S. and Regis College. She was a social worker at Boston City Hospital for over 35 years. She enjoyed travelling, reading and knitting, and was a member of the Scituate Historical Society. Anna Marie is survived by her sister, Amanda C. White of Scituate, three nephews, Thomas of Duxbury, Kevin of Sandwich, and David White of Mint Hill, NC. She is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate on Fri, Feb. 26 at 9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony’s Church, Cohasset at 10AM. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7PM. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Scituate.
