Bertha F. Lavalle Silvia

SILVIA, Bertha F. (Lavalle) of Norwell passed away at South Shore Hospital, Weymouth on December 22, 2010 age 87. Wife of the late Edward J Silvia. Bertha was raised in Billerica and was a Norwell resident for the past 12 years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading. Bertha cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and especially her great grandchildren. Loving mother of Susan Agostino and her husband Joseph of Hingham, Jason Silvia and his wife Nancy of Norwell, mother-in-law of Paige Silvia of Holbrook, the late Jan E. and Evonne Silvia. Sister of Christine and Frank Mirasolo of Billerica, James and Vula Lavalle of Cambridge, Edward “Sonny” and Abbie Lavalle of Randolph, the late Joseph Lavalle and Evonne Tibido. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. All services will be private and under the direction of Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, Scituate.
