BUTLER, Catherine (Tavares) of Scituate, passed away in the loving arms of her husband on February 24, 2010 at the age of 60. Catherine was a caring and compassionate OR nurse for many years at the Carney Hospital. She often received thank you calls from her patients. Catherine loved the simple things in life. She was a fabulous cook and passionate gardener.
Catherine is survived by her husband, Martin, a sister, Sandra Crane of Falmouth, and brother David Tavares of Falmouth.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 2nd from 4PM - 7PM at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd., Scituate, MA, followed by a funeral service at 7PM.
