Clara Elizabeth Higgs

Loving wife of the late Lawrence L. Higgs; devoted mother of David Higgs and his wife Susanne, Darlene Verzone and her husband

Robert, Delia Higgs Weikert and the late Deanna Garland and husband the late Richard Garland. Loving sister of the late Warren Nott Jr and his wife Beatrice,

Florence Stovold and her husband Gordon and the late Frances Hallett and her husband Allan. She cherished her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and

nieces and nephews.

Clara graduated from Braintree High School in 1943, The Modern School of Fashion Design in 1945; played the French horn in the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra; modeled for Bill Blass, managed a fabric store and was treasurer of Weymouth Boat Storage. Clara is remembered for her love of

fashion, sewing, shoes, large family gatherings at her beach house and for the love and support she gave her family.

Visiting Hours at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate, Wednesday, December 7 from 5- 8 pm; a service in her memory will be held at 7 pm. Interment will be private.
