Clorinda,
You were a dedicated wife, mother and Christian who always put others first. You never knew how much you were appreciated for all the sacrifices you made along the way and never complained, not once. You had a big heart Clorinda. I admired your strength, your courage and your ability to make people laugh. You brought so much joy in so many lives. You lived life to the fullest. You went and did everything you told me you wanted to do. Attending Robert’s college graduation was on the top of the list. This past May, you were able to do that. Seeing Robert is like seeing you. Not only were you my sister, you were my best friend. You were someone I could talk to about anything without being judged. I will miss that. I love you and miss you.
Catherine

Your brother-in-law who adored you so much over the last 20 years. Where do I start to discuss how great you were with people? I will start with your family. You met me at your mama's house and said you already doing work, you will fit right in. I am Catherine's baby sister. Let me help you it's hot out here. I was cutting the grass and trimming trees. You then went and got me a pizza and the rest of them sub sandwiches. That was my 1st visit and you invited me in with open arms. I injured myself at mama's house and you checked on me daily and then made Catherine and me stay with you and Phil because it was easier to get to the hospital from your house. Phil and you never complained about us there. You made me fill welcome and a part of your family as well. You made me go places with Phil to get him out the house. We got along like brothers. You called me everyday, emailed, or texted to see how I was doing and how taking care of criminals were going. You say be careful and tell me when make it to the facility with your suspects. You and I talk and joke about our kids being spoiled and how much we love them. We talk about, well tell me that I was cooking when I come down for the holidays. You guys ate it making me think you liked it but you kept me doing it every time we came. You always wanted me to feel like your home was mine. We had such great times. We would come after mama passed and would not tell no one because we had a short visit just to check on you. You always shared Robert's success with me so I missed nothing. I even got to drive him from and to Yale which was awesome. You just got the job done and never complained. You taught us all a lesson, fight and do it with a smile. Your attitude made the hardest task seem simple. You accomplished your goals in life and saw our kids graduate college. JJ finishing in 2.5 years to break a record, Christina Lady of the Lake, and Robert from the most prestige college, Yale University. We'll meet later. Love you. Jay

On August 8th we lost a friend, a dear member of our work family and a truly funny person.
Throughout her battle in true Clorinda fashion she kept us smiling and laughing, and all the "Clorinda witticism" will be with us always.

Rest in peace, lunch buddy.

Roses are red.
Violets are blue.
Clorinda we know you're breathing easier now,
and we will miss you.

And He will raise you up on eagle’s wings
Bear you on the breath of dawn
Make you shine like the sun
And hold you in the palm of His hand.

Cloey,
You carried your cross with admirable strength. 💪🏽
You were courageous, faithful and hopeful.🌈
Thank you for that example.☺️
Though it is time for your eternal rest,
please pray for us here as we mourn your absence. 🙏🏼🙏🏼💔💔

You who dwell in the shelter of the Lord
Who abide in His shadow for life
Say to the Lord, “My Refuge, My Rock In Whom I trust.”

R.I.P., Cloey

Phil, we are so sorry for your loss... Clorinda was such a bright and cheerful soul. She always lit up the room and was always ready with her quick wit. I cannot imagine how deep the sorrow must be for you, your son and her family but I know she will always be with you all. We enjoyed many a laugh back in the day and we will miss her dearly. Steve and I will always be here for you if you ever need anything. May she rest in peace.

To my sissy Cloie............You and I go back to the beginning when life was easy and we were carefree as teenagers working together, going to school, hanging out, our monthly dinners, going to concerts, mini vacations, you living with us, us having our kids together, and our Hall and Oats! So very many memories that I will cherish every day and keep you in my heart always. Life will not be the same but I know you will be close by. Be pain free and crack your jokes like always. I love you my beautiful forever friend !!! <3

My Dearest Clorinda there are no words I can find to express how sad I am to learn of your passing , we finally got to talk in June and of course no matter what you were going through you still found a way to crack a few jokes about the way back days and the stories and love we shared . You told me No Regrets , that you had true love in your life , that you were Blessed to have one Wonderful and Healthy son. You also gave me some much needed advice and I’m trying to follow it, you said the Darlene you knew kicked Ass and kept on going. So I promise to remember you , Happy , Joking around, and always putting others before your own happiness. I’m glad you grabbed onto Philip and Never let go , You are one of the Bravest Women I have been Blessed to call friend . Thank you for the Laughter and Music 🎶. I will hold you in my 💜 till we meet again. Also to Philip and Robert my sincere Prayers and Love and Healing Being Sent to you both.

Clo was one of the first people to make me laugh and genuinely feel welcome when I joined the payroll family. She had a way of making you laugh because you weren’t sure if she was serious or just kidding, she brought a lightness to the department. She always wanted her Chinese food luncheons...the loving memories go on and on! We will miss you xoxo
