MCHUGH, Daniel T.- Age 87, of Scituate, passed away on October 11, 2026. He was the loving husband of 60 years to Maureen K. McHugh. Daniel was one of 16 children born to the late Patrick and Lillian McHugh. Beloved father to the late Heather McHugh, Jennifer McHugh, Erin McHugh and Daniel McHugh.
Daniel was a proud Army Airborne Veteran. He was a member of the Boston Fire Department for 20 years. Daniel also held a commercial fishing license in Scituate where he would generously treat members of his fire station to fresh lobster.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday October 24, 2026 at 10am at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Daniel’s name to The Arc of the South Shore or Croi Hospice.
