Daniel “Danny” Sanborn passed away peacefully on Monday, June 16 at the age of 50. Danny was born on August 20th 1974 to the late Raymond D. Sanborn Sr. and Dianne J. Kelley. He was born with Cerebral Palsy, but he never let it slow him down. Danny loved baseball and was an avid follower of all Boston teams. In his 20s, he worked at South Shore Hospital as a janitor and developed his love for environmental sciences— specifically recycling. While there, Danny developed a new system for recycling cardboard waste which the hospital adopted. He continued his love for recycling well past his janitorial career, often collecting cans from friends and family alike.
Danny leaves behind his mother Dianne J. Kelley of Scituate, sister Lisa and her husband Ed Brennan of Scituate, and brother Raymond Sanborn Jr. and his wife Kori of Falmouth. He is also survived by his niece and Goddaughter Aubrey, his nieces Samantha and Shayna, his nephew Shawn, great-niece Patience, and his best friend Danny McGaughey.
