Deborah was born in Boston on January 17, 1956. She attended South Boston High School. She loved to cook and her meals were amazing. She was generous and kind to everyone. She loved to sew and made her children incredible Halloween costumes. A talented phlebotomist that was able to take care of the babies and children with compassion and kindness. She wore Disney scrubs and had rolls of stickers to help comfort her little patients. She also had an incredible love of cats especially Cosmic Creeper.
She was the daughter of the late George J. LaCasse, Sr. and Nancy J. (Showstead) LaCasse. She is survived by her husband Robert M. Vaughan, Jr; and her beloved sons Kenneth Vaughan and Nathan Vaughan, Grandson Russell D. Vaughan and her son in law Sean Russell.
She leaves behind her siblings Roxanna M. (LaCasse) Bixler and Don of Massachusetts, the (late) Doreen D. LaCasse, George J. LaCasse, Jr. and Lisa of Maine, Eloria (LaCasse) DeStoop of Maine, Nancy J. (LaCasse) Springer and Ken of Tennessee, Theresa Y.(LaCasse) Singh and Val of Massachusetts, Robert R. LaCasse & Stacey of Florida, William R. LaCasse & Jessica of Massachusetts, Lillian C. (LaCasse) Connolly and Joseph of Massachusetts, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her generosity and laughter will be forever missed. When you see a Star twinkling know it is her looking down on you.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024, promptly at 1pm at the Richardson - Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate, MA. 02066, followed by a burial at the Trinity Park Cemetery in Scituate.
