

Florence B. ( Locurto ) Crehan – Of Scituate passed away on the morning of Dec. 21, 2015 in her 87th year surrounded by her beloved family. Born in Boston, on December 5, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Carmelo and Josephine (Stella) Locurto. She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph M. Crehan, with whom she shared 45 years of marriage. Devoted mother of Joseph M. Crehan and his wife Jeanne of Scituate. Cherished grandmother of Meghan K. Crehan of Quincy and Jillian K. Crehan of Scituate. Loving sister of Angelo Locurto of Braintree and Barbara Locurto of Naples, Florida and the late Ida Locurto, Mary Saltmarsh, Grace Dauplaise, Eleanor DeFranc, Salvatore Locurto and Gloria Baiardi. Also survived by her loving sister in law Mary Stewart and her husband Don of Falmouth and many nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed spending time with her many friends at Wheeler Park and volunteering at the Scituate Senior Center. She will be remembered for her great smile and caring personality.
Funeral from the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, SCITUATE on Monday Dec. 28th at 10 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate at 11 AM. Visiting hours Sunday Dec. 27th 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
