Helen Theresa Connelly

Born, raised and educated in Roslindale, in 1958 Helen moved to Dedham before moving to Scituate five years later, where she lived until moving to her daughter’s in 2013.

Helen worked as a Legal secretary, before going to work for Peterson Insurance and then Mahoney and Wright Insurance Company, where she worked until her retirement in 1995. Helen enjoyed sewing, reading and spending time with her family.

Helen was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Daniel R. Connelly Sr. She is survived by her loving children Stephen F. of WY, Daniel R. Jr. of WA, Noreen F. Bressette of Sandwich, Patrick J. of Maine and Raina M. Connelly of Quincy. Sister of the late Mary Roth, John Hallisey, Catherine Anton and Joseph Hallisey. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Richardson- Gaffey Funeral Home at 382 First Parish Road, Scituate. On Thursday July 24th at 9:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of The Nativity, 1 Kent Street, Scituate at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Interment in Cudworth Cemetery, Scituate.
