He was an extraordinary person. He was joyful and truly appreciated life. Jimmy was always laughing, giggling, telling silly jokes.
He found a deep happiness in nature, especially the ocean. Swimming, scuba diving, exploring were his passions. Animals were special to him too. He took such tender care of any creature he came across. He cherished many little kittens he found and rescued.
Jimmy deeply loved his family.
He spent endless hours talking, planning, reminiscing with his Dad. Of course, they especially loved sports, particularly football or baseball. Like any Boston fan, they would go on and on about the Sox or Patriots. His high school football days were a great memory too.
He had daily conversations with his beloved sister. They were as close as any brother and sister could be. He shared everything with her and looked to her for guidance, support and love.
He loved to hear about his niece and her husband, along with their children, his great-nephews and nieces. He wanted to learn everything there was to know about them as they were growing up. They brought him boundless joy.
Jimmy had many friends where he lived and liked to find ways to show his friendship. He was thoughtful and generous. Every chance he had he would give little gifts to show he cared and that his friends and family were valued.
And I think the most meaningful of all in Jimmy’s life was his love for his life-long girlfriend, Lisa. His heart was lifted and light with his Lisa. They were a pair made in heaven.
We were all blessed to have the opportunity to know and love him.
We will miss him always.
