Raised in Pawtucket, R.I., she attended Rhode Island College, was a high school math teacher and worked for many years in the Thomsen family business.
Wife of the late Steven Christensen. Janice is survived by her daughter Erica Connolly, her husband Bill, of Norwell, and her son Kevin Christensen, his wife Amy, of Upton. Cherished grandmother of Jason, Shannon, Dillon, Alissa, and Samantha. Beloved great-grandmother of CJ and Jake. She is also survived by her siblings Edgar, Michael, Susan, Mary, and Roberta.
A visitation will take place on October 22, 2017 from 2-5 pm at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday October 23, 2017 at 10 am from St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate.
