John Charles Karcher Jr.

John was the owner of Karcher Family Horizon Realtors, which he established in 1967, owner/instructor of Statewide Real Estate School, and President of MA Association of Buyer Agents.

Some of John's happiest times were spent on the ocean kayaking or boating with his family and golden retriever, Sunshine. He loved to watch his flowers and vegetables grow in his garden. Family members will always remember his creativity in preparing holiday meals and his sense of humor. In the winter he enjoyed downhill skiing. He was enthusiastic about his work and the people he met there. He volunteered in his spare time helping people to quit smoking and maintain a healthy life style through hypnosis and positive thinking. Most of all he loved his family and friends.

Loving father of Paul, Michael and Megan Karcher all of Scituate, Karen Sheppard of RI and John C. Karcher III of Milford.

Brother of Tom Karcher of Duxbury, Dotty McDonough of Manomet and Nancy LaMarre of NC. Proud grandfather of Billy, Tommy and Ryan.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Saturday, April 26th at 10AM in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent St, Scituate.
