John Herman Parsons

Beloved husband of Anne V. (McLean) Parsons, to whom he was married to for 58 years. Dear son of the late William and Doris (Bartsch) Parsons.

Devoted father of Jack Parsons and his wife Nancy, Lynne McWilliams and her husband Kevin and Judith Parsons. Cherished grandfather of John, Kelly, Michael and Patrick. Loving brother of Dorcas Unger, Ronald Parsons, Suzanne Zipay and the late William Parsons, Audrey Shaw and Robert Parsons. Also survived by many nieces, nephews.

After 40 + years, John retired from the automobile industry. He also proudly retired from Mass Army National Guard with a rank of CW4.

Funeral from the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 9:15 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate at 10 a.m. Interment will be private.

Visiting hours Thursday, September 8, from 4 to 8 p.m.
