

Jack, who was raised in Cataumet, loved Cape Cod and greatly enjoyed fishing and being near the water. His passion was his family.
Jack was the only son of the late Donald and Elizabeth (Burtt) Worley. He was a devoted and adoring husband to Mary (Liquori) for 34 years. Loving and proud father of Gary and his wife Jennifer of Duxbury, Jeffrey and his wife Sarah of Falmouth and Eric and his wife Trisha of Chicago. Cherished grandfather of six.
Jack voluntarily joined the United States Navy and served in the Vietnam war as a Navy Corpsman from 1964-1968. Jack contributed valiantly in the long and arduous battle of Khe-Sanh. When he returned stateside, Jack attended Northeastern University where he graduated in 1973 before beginning his public service career. He was the very first Recreation Director in the town of Marshfield in 1974. From there Jack began his revered career in Cohasset as Director of Recreation for 33 years. He will be remembered most for serving his country, his community, his wife, and his family. His generosity, gentleness, and heart of gold will endear him to all whose lives he touched.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to join loved ones in remembering Jack on Saturday, December 10. A visitation memorial will be held from 10:30AM - 12:00PM at Richardson-Gaffney Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road Scituate, MA 02066. A memorial funeral mass will follow at 1:00PM in Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont St, Duxbury, MA 02332.
