Joe was a lifelong Scituate resident where he attended schools, and was a commercial fisherman. He loved fishing, hunting, and being outdoors, especially at sea.
Joe is survived by his mother and stepfather; Rita and Rich Rozen of Scituate, his daughter; Nicole Buckley of RI, and his grandmother; Ruth White of Cohasset.
Son of the late Wendell Blanchard, Joe had many friends in Scituate, and Costa Rica.
During his life he was known for his generosity, and humorous antics. It was always showtime when Joe was around.
Friends and relatives are welcome to attend a gathering at the Scituate VFW on Friday, Sept. 16th from 4-9PM.
