Joseph Lorenzo Cerilli

Joe served our country for 20 years as Pilot with the US Air Force and served two tours of duty in the Vietnam War. He then took a position with the US Postal Service working as a Supervisor in Scituate and Cohasset until his retirement.

Son of the late Guiseppe and Maria (Santia) Cerilli. Joe is the father of Mark of Hingham, Scott and his wife Kari of Peachtree City, GA, Lisa of Rockland and Lawrence and his wife Casey of Raleigh, NC.

Brother of Alberta Miller of Ft. Belvoir, VA, Laura Laws of Myrtle Beach, SC and the late Louis Cerilli.

He was the proud grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visiting Hours will be on Thurs, Jan. 8th from 6PM – 8PM at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Jan 9th at 10AM at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent St, Scituate burial to follow in Cudworth Cemetery, Scituate.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
