Joseph E. Clapp – of Norwell, former lifelong Scituate resident and proud “Townie” passed away May 3, 2016 in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Noreen (Keefe) Clapp and Patricia (McInnis) Whittaker Clapp.
Devoted father of Diane Dorgan and her husband Larry of Hanson, Susan Park and her husband Neale of Pembroke, Thomas Clapp of Scituate and Debra Morini of Norwell.
Cherished Grampy Joe of 6 grandchildren: Jimmy, Kerry, Erika, Tiffany, Nicole and Justin; and 9 great grandchildren.
Proud WWII veteran US Army Aircorp, serving as a B-24 bomber pilot. He worked for many years as a local builder.
Visiting hours at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate on Monday, May 9, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial private.
